Your STAR will forever shine...R.I. P Long Live the King is what I embedded in my head after the death of Michael Jackson in 2009. So, in that same year right after I did a small tribute to him. The following year of 2010 after his death I had a conversation with a friend Ron Williams of Affordable Sounds about having a free show for the community Hosted by Deliverance Gino J The God Father of Mix 106 we were to go to all the radio stations and media Smoking 99.1 WSMK, U93fm and invite Artist, Bands, Dancers Performers, Food Trucks to come be a part of it. After brainstorming Rico aka Ron Williams went to the South Bend, IN Parks N Recreations Board members as they were meeting and presented my proposal to them.  Once they heard it was for Michael Jackson and to feed families in our community through the FeedingAmerica.org and Northern IN Food Bank the City signed off on it and now the rest is history. The Tribute and Drive had 7 or 8 year run ending in 2016. It was my way of giving back to the King of Pop for his humanitarian efforts and at the same giving to my community.

Big shout out to the Michiana 5 For The Homeless Event Coordinator, Clara Ross, Sound Technicians, MJ M.j. West, Affordable Sounds, Singers, Dancers, Bands, Rappers, Ministers, Mcees Christopher I. Commings, Ron Willson, all the Staff at the Homeless Center, Wsbt Tv, and the Michiana Community. We have to keep doing the good fight to make a change for all those who are in need.
